Our software environment for developing the lexicon and the text generation module consists of Allegro Common Lisp, the knowledge representation system LOOM (ISI, Los Angeles) with the Generic Knowledge Base Editor (SRI, Stanford), the generation system KPML (GMD, Darmstadt) and the lexicalization component MOOSE (M. Stede). For speech synthesis, we use Hadifix (IKP Bonn) and MBROLA (TCTS Lab, Mons).
